The post doesn’t in any way compare their abuse You’re “team Stark” as long as it’s the way you want it to be. Cause it’s obviously not what you’re actually doing. If you wanna “discuss Arya’s journey” in a way of: a) comparison of trauma b) shit on another character. does Daenerys live in your brain rent-free? Even though you claim to hate her? How about you stop using Arya to trash on a character you so vehemently cannot get over? Even though the show has already treated her like shit? Like. How about you stop using Arya to prop up your actual favorite character? Let me try again: you wanna discuss character’s paths and traumatic experiences? How about you not turn them into Suffering Olympics? Cause that’s extremely fucking pathetic and wrong.
(I mean, I get that you might think that way, since Sansa did love to diminish her sister’s shit in season 7 to put herself in a better position and she did say her trauma (even the rape) made her a “smarter” person. Season 7 Sansa Stark seems to remember Arya’s traumatic path as “adventures”.Īs long as I can recall, one’s traumas does not make them “worthy” or “better” than other people.
